Plot Summary:March 11th, 2011, a huge earthquake followed by a giant tsunami strikes the coastal regions of Tohoku in Japan. Starting in the district of Taro, where an old lady and her sister reflect on their fear of the deadly wave that has already struck before in 1896 and 1933, the two directors drive south along the coast. Listening to the inhabitants, they wonder why people continue to live in these dangerous regions, knowing that disaster can hit without warning.
東北沿岸部で被災した人々の「対話」を撮り続けた作品。姉妹、夫婦、消防団仲間など親しいもの同士が、震災について見つめ合い語り合う。互いに向合う事で震災にも向合うことが可能になるのだろうか。被災地の悲惨な映像ではなく、対話から生成される人々の「感情」を映像に残すことで後世に震災の記憶を伝えようとする。若い監督２人自身も対話を重ね撮られた話題作。山形国際ドキュメンタリー映画祭2011年にて上映。
